Winnipeg mural artist Nereo, who now lives in Mexico, just completed this stunning portrait of a Ukrainian woman he recently met. her husband and father were back in Ukraine on the front lines of the war.
Her story struck a chord with Nereo, and he painted the mural to honour courage, family, peace, and community.
